It’s been a big year, and it just got bigger.
FiveTwelve Marketing is thrilled to announce the opening of our second base, right in the heart of Cardiff. Our London base isn’t going anywhere; it’s still very much at the centre of everything we do. But with the majority of our team now based between Bristol and Wales, Cardiff was the obvious next step, one that lets us collaborate more closely, move faster for our clients, and get stuck into a live events scene that’s genuinely booming.
We want to cut through the noise and make it easier for suppliers, organisers and creatives across Wales to access marketing expertise that actually understands the sector they’re working in.
London isn’t going anywhere, Wales is where we’re growing next.
This year we grew the team, with Myles, Neil, Cassidy and Bee joining us, and the place is noticeably better for it. We exhibited at the Event Production Show, met a load of brilliant people, and came away certain we’re pointed in the right direction. We’ve done work we’re proud of for clients who push us.
But why Wales we hear you ask!
There’s a huge creative and cultural sector here that’s growing fast and doing genuinely exciting work, events, production, broadcast, the lot. It deserves a marketing partner properly in the mix, that understands the sector, its audiences and has serious experience in the space they are operating in.
We’ve already had a great taste of it working on Pride Cymru, for over 2 years, an event with real cultural weight, run by people who care enormously about getting it right for the community.
It’s also a personal one, our founder, Laura Light, is Welsh. FiveTwelve was born in London, but the thinking behind it is something she’d tell you she learned long before the company existed.
“This year has been brilliant, new people, new work, and the Event Production Show reminded us exactly who we’re building this for. Cardiff felt like the natural next move. I’m Welsh, and there’s a creative and cultural sector here that’s really going for it. We want to be part of that properly, not from a distance. It’s the most personal decision I’ve made for FiveTwelve, and I couldn’t be happier about it.”
